We will update these as we get closer to the event. Please feel free to bring up any questions or concerns at anytime.

  • The ceremony and the cocktail hour will take place outdoors. Sunset will be at 6:58 PM, do dress in layers. Reception activities will be held indoors, but the Observatory deck will be open throughout the evening to the public for telescope viewings.

  • Yes!

    The telescopes will be open to the public, so we will have to share!

  • Unfortunately, transportation will not be provided. You will need to drive yourself, order an Uber, or coordinate a ride with another guest. The hill to Chabot is quite windy and dark, so please drive safely.

    If you need help arranging a ride, feel free to reach out! We added it to our RSVP.

  • Yes, of course! We love kids and want them as part of our special day.

    If at any point you need to step away from the activities we completely understand.

  • There will be a vegetarian options for the provided meals.

    However we are not specifically accomodating vegan or gluten-free options. We recommend that if you do have a very specific diet you must stick to that you bring your own food.

  • We have decided to not have a registry. We live in a very small apartment and would like to keep our footprint small.

    But you can contribute to our honeymoon fund. We like Japan.

  • Jana and Michael will be be having a separate, more intimate church ceremony before the ceremony at Chabot with specifically invited people.

    We kindly ask that if you were not invited directly to not attend.

    The ceremony at Chabot will be where we say our vows and have a lot more fun, so you won’t be missing out.
