Honeymoon Fund

Jana and Michael are planning on honeymooning in Japan (again) once both can take some much needed time off, hopefully this winter.

Though the dates aren’t set, you can tie your amount to a specific activity. Feel free to write suggestions on the card or memo. We will send photos of what you contributed to!

As much as we like physical gifts, we are quite limited in apartment space. Please consider a cash, check, or venmo gift instead.

Here’s how you can gift to us:

1

Hand-deliver a check or envelope to us at the wedding

There will be a box at the welcome table

2

Venmo the couple using

please title it “Honeymoon fund :)”

3

Zelle MICHAEL LEITE-GARCIA using

please title it “Honeymoon fund :)”

Here are some things that you can fund for our honeymoon

  • Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu

We're heading to Niseko Tokyu Grand Hirafu, one of Japan’s most famous ski resorts, known for its soft powder and mountain views.

We’ll spend the day carving down slopes, riding lifts, and only occasionally falling.

Your gift helps cover lift passes, gear rentals, and some warm tea.

  • Bike Tour

Inspired by our friend Jesse, we plan to spend a day biking from town to town through the peaceful Japanese countryside.

This will be our slow travel day to soak in the beauty and stillness of rural Japan.

Your gift helps with bike rentals, snacks, and maybe a sweet roadside stop.

  • Hot Springs in the Snow

After snowy adventures, nothing sounds better than soaking in a steaming outdoor hot spring surrounded by Hokkaido’s snowy landscape.

We’re dreaming of a peaceful moment in a traditional rotenburo, with snow falling quietly around us.

Your gift helps us enjoy a relaxing dip, towel rental, and maybe a post-bath snack of milk or mochi.

  • Studio Ghibli Museum

As lifelong Ghibli fans, visiting the museum feels like stepping into one of their magical worlds.

From Totoro’s Catbus to original animation cells, we’ll wander through charming exhibits and relive the wonder of childhood.

Your gift helps us with museum tickets, a train ride to Mitaka, and maybe a keepsake to take home.
